Creekside Adds Afternoon Jam Sessions

Less than two months until Creekside and SGN Scoops is working hard to make sure the artists and the attendees have a terrific time. From November 2nd through the 5th, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee will again welcome a host of wonderful Southern Gospel artists and fans, filling the auditorium of the Smoky Mountain Convention Center.

This month, the special news is that Creekside will have a Jam Session each afternoon from Tuesday until Thursday, featuring the artists that are instrumentalists. Many of the terrific vocalists are great players and pickers and we want you to enjoy all of their talents in the relaxed, unstructured atmosphere of a backstage jam session. Watch for more details on the Creekside Facebook and website pages.

Many of the Creekside Gospel Music friends are returning, as well as some new artists. You will enjoy the music of The Freemans, The Hinson Family, Mark209, the Pine Ridge Boys, Jordan’s Bridge, the Hoskins Family, 11th Hour, the Williamsons, the Guardians, and more. Daily showcases with Vonda Easley and Ava Kasich will highlight special guest artists like Ascension Quartet, Alliance Quartet, Exodus, John Lanier, Malachi, Billy Hodges, and others. There are many more surprises to come.

Creekside Gospel Music Convention welcomes the return of one of last year's favorite events, Midnight Prayer. Fans and artists will gather together after the concerts before heading to sleep. The services feature prayer, music and fellowship. Everyone so enjoyed these services last year that Creekside is bringing them back from Monday night through Wednesday night.

We are excited to also welcome back WATC Channel 57, Atlanta, Georgia on Monday and Tuesday nights. They will join us to do a live taping of the evening concerts. Be sure you are present to participate in all of the events and then invite your friends to view WATC Channel 57 on the web at watc.tv/onlinestreaming/ at a date and time to be announced.

Creekside Gospel Music Convention begins on Monday night with the Lou Hildreth Honors. Each year, Lou salutes a member of the Southern Gospel Music industry for their contributions to Southern Gospel. Be sure you are there!
