Creekside 2016 -- Experience it for Yourself!

Have you reserved your rooms for the Creekside Gospel Music Convention? We hope you’ve already made your plans to join us. If you have never attended CGMC, then this is your year! It all happens in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on October 31st through November 3rd, at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center. Tickets are free but must be reserved (see ticket button on this page). Contact Salina Clay for hotel reservations at hotels@sgnscoops.com or call her at 256-239-7716.

Travel To the Mountains
Creekside takes place in Sevier County, one of the most beautiful settings that the Smoky Mountains has to offer. Rugged mountain trails, trickling streams and fall foliage bursting with color are only one side of Sevier County that visitors to Creekside Gospel Music Convention will enjoy. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg together form one of the greatest tourist destinations in Tennessee, showcasing the entertainment of theme parks and attractions, shopping malls and flea markets, and restaurants offering everything from home-cooking to fine dining. Convention attendees can participate in nature escapes and city experiences, as well as music and ministry, reveling in a retreat to rejuvenate body, mind, soul and spirit.

Back By Popular Demand
We are happy to announce that the afternoon Jam Sessions will be returning. Beginning at 4:00pm each day, Scott Roberts and the Five O’Clock Band will be headlining a stellar cast of artists to warm up the listeners for an evening of song. Don’t miss this fun time where you never know quite what will happen!

Honors Night
One of the special events during the Convention will be the Creekside Honors on Monday, October 31st, in the evening. Each year, we honor someone special, someone who has made the Gospel Music World just a little nicer! From Lou Hildreth to Jerry and the Singing Goffs, each year has been a wonderful celebration of music and stories. Be sure to join us this October and stay tuned to this column to find out who is the Honored Guest this year.

The 2016 Diamond Awards
The Diamond Awards will be presented during the Convention on Tuesday night, November 1st, 2016, during a celebration hosted by Dr. Jerry and Jan Goff. The Diamond Awards are completely voter-driven, starting with nominations which will close this month. From the artists nominated, the Top Ten lists are calculated and posted, allowing voters to select their three favorites in each category. That will bring us to the Top Five lists, allowing voters to select their top choices to bring us one winner of the 2016 Diamond Award in each category. Make sure your voice is heard and vote today! http://www.sgnscoops.com/the-2016-diamond-award-nominations-2/

Exhibit Hall
If you like to hang out with your favorite artists, talking to them and getting to know them in a more personal way, Creekside is your place to be. The Exhibit Hall is filled with artist booths and the singers are waiting to chat with you. The Hall will be open every day and is part of your free admission to Creekside. You never know when a special guest will walk by or an impromptu concert will begin. Don’t miss this!

Last year we started something new for our most devoted fans and we are continuing this year. We want you to be a VIP! For only $25, a VIP bracelet will be your entry into the preferred seating at each event plus other special gifts and select backstage happenings.
